It was a quick turnaround from Chios to Crete, got back Sunday night and left for Crete on Tuesday.
The entire school had a half week due to the field study. We went on a field trip for my urban architecture class and walked around the original boundaries of the city.
Trip to Crete
Took an overnight ferry to Crete arriving bright and early, we went directly to the Palace of Knossos.
After we took a boat to Spinaloga, the abandoned island of the leper colony.
After we chilled on the beach had lunch and went back to our hotel.
Day two we visited the archaeological museum of Heraklion and the natural history museum of Crete.
Took a fat nap afterwards and had a chill night exploring Heraklion.
Day three we toured a traditional pottery workshop and got to explore the town of Margrites.
Last day in Crete we got to hike through Lissos Gorge and spent the rest of the day hanging out at the sougia beach.
