Midterms week
I had a busy week before fall break studying for my exams, doing projects, and writing papers. Other than my mythology exam I did pretty well.
Fall Break

Budapest
We first flew into Vienna then took a train to Budapest the next day. Budapest was a stunning city with beautiful architecture and rich historic areas.

Highlights
Visiting one of the oldest baths in Budapest, Lukacs Bath.
Stayed in an amazing Airbnb
Prosecco cruise at sunset
Visiting Buda Castle
Prague

We took a seven hour train from Budapest to Prague, seeing the beautiful countryside of the area. Prague was my favorite out of the three cities, it had a unique gothic and renaissance architecture style. Although it was quite rainy there and my purse was stolen out of the Airbnb window I still enjoyed our time there the most.

Highlights
– touring the St. Vitus Cathedral
– exploring the Narodni Museum
– hanging out in the Old Town Square
Vienna
Our last stop was Vienna, we stayed there for two nights. At this point in the trip we were pretty drained and didn’t get to see as much as I would have liked to but still got to explore much of the city. Exploring St. Stephens Cathedral was my favorite spot.

On our last night we met up with my friends buddies who were studying in Vienna. They took us to a traditional Viennese restaurant that was in an amusement park. We all got Wiener schnitzel and local beers. Then we explored the amusement park and rode the giant swings.
